Today we were given our visual application project brief! I am definitely excited to start this project as it will be a new challenge for me. Reflecting on the feedback of semester 1, I aim to improve upon my confidence as well as time management. 

For our project, we have been given the task of creating numerous visual illustrations based upon our given historical figures. In order to have a great end result, a lot of research is required. Along with this, we are also creating a storyboard based upon our historical figure which will then be used for the intro to animation module.

My historical figures are George Washington and Marie Curie.

Matt told us that it was optional to do both or just to focus on one. Currently, I am unsure which one I am leaning more towards but I will make this final decision after conducting research. It is also important to note that I want to focus on interesting facts rather than generic. If I decide to focus on generic facts, I will aim to present these in interesting and unique ways.

My target audience is children. I have chosen children as I have the ambition to become a children's book illustrator in the future.

In comparison to last week, my creative thinking has definitely improved as more ideas rushed to my head during the brief. Marbling

Creating my storyboard

Creating my storyboard  Daisy Jackson / 18/03/022 Today I decided to brainstorm ideas for a storyboard. This storyboard would be contributing to my introduction to animation module so I had to make sure I understood the concept and the idea I was going for. Originally, my idea was going to be a more scenic animation - focusing on the surroundings and then narrating the death of Marie Curie’s husband Pierre. However, I decided to have a different approach to this idea.
